At first sign of illness for kids: same dose, every 3–4 hours, diluted in water/tea for short-term use.
Not recommended for children under 1 year old.
Contraindications & Safety Considerations
Autoimmune Conditions
Contains immune-modulating herbs such as Echinacea and Astragalus.
Use caution in autoimmune disorders unless under practitioner guidance.
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Generally considered low to moderate risk, but because immune stimulants can be unpredictable, best used with practitioner supervision during pregnancy.
Breastfeeding: typically safe in normal amounts, but avoid high/acute dosing.
Acute Infections (Astragalus Note)
Astragalus is traditionally avoided during fevering, active infections in some herbal systems, though modern evidence is mixed.
Safe approach: Use for prevention and early onset support, but reduce Astragalus-heavy blends during high fevers.
Allergies
Avoid if allergic to plants in the Asteraceae family (Echinacea).
Discontinue if rash or itching occurs.
Surgery / Blood Sugar Medications
Astragalus may influence blood sugar and immune activity.
Use caution and consult a practitioner if using medications affecting immunity or undergoing surgery.
Children Under 1
Avoid, due to alcohol content and immune-stimulating herbs.
General
Not a substitute for medical care.
Seek medical attention for persistent high fever, difficulty breathing, or symptoms lasting longer than 7–10 days.
